Y'day 03/24, I recd the courtesy approvals and today I got the stamping.

AD: 03/19/03 (My 140 was approved for CP).

God is great and I sincerely pray for everyone to get their turn soon.

Anyone having this kind of issue. Pease update forum

i have submitted my I-140 and I-485 in feb 2003 and I got receipts for I-140 and AP. But not for I-485 and I-765(EAD)
Because at that time app. fee were reduced and INS computers are not able to generate the receipt. Is there any way that we can get receipt numbers or receipts from INS(BCIS).

Could you elaborate on the RFE? What was wrong/missing as per INS. What document did you have to provide? My wife changed her last name after marriage. I am still waiting to change her name in her passport (I have just applied for Labor, so I guess I have time to do the needful to avoid an RFE)

Can you apply for I485, even if you have indicated "CP" in your I140 application?
 
I140

The lawyers mentioned CP processing during I140 stage without my knowledge. It is OK to do AOS if processed for CP. But the viceversa is nearly impossible.

Does any one have any idea why the immigration sites are showing processign date for I-485 still as 08/22/2001 for NSC even though we have folks posting here who have a RD of 11/2001 and are getting approvals?

One of my friends who works with me and whose employer is based in chicago got his 485 filing date in Nov 01, he got approval in the third week of april '03 and got his stamping done in 1st week of may (he had to go to chicago and so the delay) !!! his wife's got posted to the local INS office and so the wait continues for her!
