Today we(me+spouse) got I-485 approved and passport stamped after an interview in Newark office.
While the journey was long and tedious, we always had friends like you as lights and signs to lead us through the end of the tunnel.

The officer was very courteous and soft spoken.
The interview was @ 8 AM, they called us in @ 8:15AM. Asked us to sign a form and they took fingerprints.
Asked us to take the oath
Questions for me:
1. What company are you working for ?
2. Is it the same company who sponsored your application ?
3. What is the date of marriage ?
4. Asked for a copy of marriage license ?
5. What is your mother-in-law name ?
6. What is your father-in-law name ?
7. Is this your first marriage ?
Questions for spouse:
1. What is your mother-in-law name ?
2. What is your father-in-law name ?
3. Is this your first marriage ?
4. What is your current address ?
5. How long have you been in this address ?
Officert then collected our I-94, AP, EAD and stamped a temporary evidence of permanent residence stamp in our passport.
He said, we should get our actual green cards in mail within 1 to 2 months.
