OCT RFE case approved

Hi,
Finally approved on Mar 27th after a 3 year wait. I saw the approval status online and heard the message subsequently. In my daughter case though, the AVM message says Welcome letter sent. In my wife & my case it says approval letter sent.

I have been a silent member. Thanks for keeping this forum running.

I remember reading others posting a similar requirement of 6months of pay stub.

Anyway, if you have a job it does not matter, how many months.

How did you get copies of 2001 tax returns? Did you get it from IRS local office? If so how long did it take you to get it? Do you know if we should be submitting copies or transcripts? Your input would be appreciated.
 
You do not have to approach the IRS for it. You must obviously having the copies of the returns you filed in 2001. All INS needs is a copy of them. They might also ask for a recent W2.

even though I have paystubs for the last 6 months, I didnt have a job for 6-8 months in 2002 while I was on EAD. I was issued an RFE and am waiting for details.
Will it be a problem if my W2 for 2002 only shows around 40K for the year.

Technically I am not in illegal status as I no longer am on H1 and was on an EAD.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
