OCT RD Approved (?)

Hi, I got approval notice just yesterday....
I didn't expect....

Actually, I was expecting RFE, 'cause my wife missed few physical exam due to the pregnancy.
But her case is approved too!!!

PD 10/15/2000
RD 10/01/2001
FP 1/31/2002
AD 7/30/2002

EAC-02-001-5xxxx
Virginia E3

You sure thats October case?

It is an August case.

Looks like your RD and ND are same (by rupnet data) and your EAC number can not be october.

Congratulations for your approval.
 
OCT is your ND, your RD must be Aug or Sep -- Congrats anyway

Dear Friend,

Your EAC suggests that your ND is OCT. Your Reveived date must be a lot earlier. Your RD must be either AUG or SEP. Please check your I-485 notice and let everyone know.

BTW,
RD = received date = date on which INS received your application
ND = Notice date = date on which INS collected the money and printed the recipt of the application.

There is generally a difference between RD and ND and for cases filed in 2001, this difference was 1-2 months.

I'm not sure too....

On my Approval notice, it says PD Oct-15-2000 and RD Oct-01-2001 and final ND is Jul-30-2002.

I thought I was Aug RD, but it says that........

I'll check the 485 received notice for make sure.....

If its Oct case... thats good news...
But according ur EAC # it looks like Oct 01 is ur ND.

:) . A colleague of mine got approved like 3-4 weeks ago and had the same first 5 digits EAC-02-001-5XXXX and his RD is august and ND was october 1.

notice) and let us know what your actual RD is.

Congratulations!

It is very clear from the EAC# that Oct. 1 has to be ND not RD
(EAC-02-001...). But I've seen RD=ND which is really ND on my FP notice...
 
This one is ND

The RD for an approval notice will be the ND from previous notice like I-485 Receipt Notice. I hope this helps.

INS uses the ND from previous notice as RD for the current notice if it is issued as a next step.:)

I checked my 485 notice and found you all are right.
My real RD is Aug 31 2001.

I just see my approval notice and it says my RD is Oct 1 2001. It is my ND date of 485 notice.
