Anybody with RD/ND in Oct/Nov did name check?

Is that done seperately for spouse, or done together.

I presume there's some level of activity in Oct/Nov 2002 with some RFEs coming out - hopefully many of us should be thro with this ordeal in the next 3 months or so. Again read the begining of the sentence its "hopefully". We live by hopes and by hopes we live :confused:

Contemplating to invoke AC21 sometime soon.

RFE was issued for my case. The status website now says on May 10th we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. blah..blah

There was no RFE or change in status for my wife. Will give more info once I receive details of RFE.

2nd FP Notice

Got second FP notice - but nothing on the letter indicates it is a second one!!! It is just a usual message about fingerprinting..
Hope it is the same for others too.

RFE Issued

I've just got an email from USCIS saying that they issued an RFE in my case on May 24th. Last Updated date is May 25th. The update occurred during the day as I checked early in the morning and it was still good ol' "your application was received..." I hope it's just EVL and I'll post details as soon as I get them from my lawyer.

My palms and feet are sweating and there is some tingling in my stomach ;)

For the curious minds, I have an AC21 case as my company split about 5 months ago. I could claim successor of interest but my lawyer said there was no need and AC21 would work just fine. I filed for my third (3) EAD on May 4th and my first (1) AP on April 20th. My fingerprints are to expire in late July.

Glad to know that a fellow Nov '02 case has been touched... Hopefully the RFE is pretty straight forward and easy .... Please keep us posted... My RD is 10 days after yours... and my FP1 has expired as of 4/23/04 ....

Hi Sairam.
My case is a bit similar to yours. My first FP was done on Dec 2002 so I guess thjey are expired now. Since then there is no activity on my case at all. I did an address change in Jun 2003 and the message changed to that "On Jul 9 ......"

I am not sure when our cases will get touched and hope we wont be the last people on this backlog.

Received RFE

The new system triggered an e-mail messaage stating that a RFE (for self) has been issued on May 24 (the e-mail came in on May 25, 11.01 AM (CDT). The status on the online status has also been changed. No RFE for spouse. Await details from the attorney.

EB2 / RIR processing
140 Approved - December 2002
RD Nov. 2002
ND Nov. 2002 (LIN030405XXXX)
FP - July 2003

EAD / Parole Visa - Both expire around the Nov. / Dec. time frame. So hopefully the RFE is for something relavant towards the 485 processing.

Currently both of us are on our second EAD and second Parole Visa.

Praying for something meaningful :rolleyes:

No RFE

Interesting thing is that 2FP notice has been issued the same date ( May 19 th ) when they approved my third EAD.
So, I assume they really touched my case.

I got my FP2 notice today as well .... Does that mean they are starting processing Nov '02 cases... or is it the contractors who are "removing the case files from the shelves .. and getting them ready for adjudication ..." ... Hopes hopes and more hopes... Hope keeps a human alive
