Oct Case Problem

Guys,
My RD is Oct 2001
My ND is Dec 12

I have called four times so far to the INS. Twice related to dela, Once my Lawyer claims he called. Once I called regarding my EAD. Now that the processing times have changed to Dec, I am wondering if my calling would help. Are they recording the number of times we call and will delay because they consider the calls annoying.

Please advise.

Regards.

Whenever you call BCIS, the IIO opens your case on the system and enter the info about your call, like call date, time, reason for call, information provided by IIO to you. This is a common practice with any customer solution department. After all, they also have to prove to their bosses, what work they have done.

However, I don't think that will impact your processing.

I never called them until I saw almost all october cases being approved. I don't think it should matter unless you are calling them every week, it might make them suspicious... BTW, I am an Oct 2001 filer and still waiting!!

calling iio

I don't know if it has negative impact, but one thing for sure it is that it doesn't help at all either. i called couple of times and each time iio said "pending" and wait for "30-60 days", even though our fp expired, even though we've been waiting for over 540 days, they just don't care!!!

I called on last Friday

The IIO was very "sympathetic" to my situation and said I should have not been waiting for so long, but she explained that the mandatory security check on my case was not completed yet, so I have to wait more. I asked how long that check will be back, she said might be few days, few weeks or few months. Also she said she does not know who / which organization is doing check on my case, so she could not tell me any phone number to call for that matter.

I am 02059 case and have been waiting for 552 days as of today. My attorney will send out formal inquiry today.
