Talked to IIO this morning. He told me i will hear in 2 weeks. Is this a standard answer or can i count on it?

Very similar situation here. RFE responded April 16. Their records are updated on 25th. Spoke to IIO this morning. He said it may take any time between 2 weeks to 2 months.

Well, It will be two months on May7th that INS AVM updated with RFE response. No news yet. Hope this two month timeframe is true.

I am also in the same boat
RFE message for emp letter updated on Apr 18 but no news yet. IIO told me to wait for another 3 weeks to one month. Should I wait or should I call them every week.

My case was the same VSC updated AVM with RFE receipt details on 4/25/01 and my case was approved as per AVM on 4/27/01, just heard it on AVM.

Hang in there it should be any time now.

RFE issued for my wife on 4/9/01, Replied 4/18/01, AVM updated 4/25/01.
Called IIO yesterday (Thomas) and told me that it will take between 2 weeks to 2 months.
However, my case has been approved, but waiting for my wife\'s I-485 approval.

As per the RFE notice, they take between 14 days to 60 days.
We have to call them if it is not adjudicated within 60 days after the receipt.

Hope this will end soon.

I just spoke to IIO. My RFE response was recv by INS mar7. She said wait another 2/4 weeks. I thing INS just skipped Oct cases and just approving Jan/Feb/+ cases. It is totally unfare.
