1st FP - Done on March 10 2003
2nd FP - Waiting
Just got 3rd EAD
Received RFE regarding birth cert in June 2003, replied RFE on Aug 6 2003.
I485 status changed to 'RFE received .....

Keeping my fingers crossed..

485 ND 10/26/02
FP1 12/05/02
3 EADs
FP2 08/20/04
RFE (AP3) 9/13/04 - photo
RFE (485) 10/13/04 - name mismatch & BC - not yet replied.

I see that you got your RFE issued on 10/13/04. How long did it take to get you RFE notice in mail? I got an email from USCIS on 10/19/2004 that the RFE has been issued. However, my lawyer has not received the notice yet.

Wondering what might cause the delay.......

GKNair,

My Lawyer received the RFE notice in the mail this evening. USCIS has requested further information on birth and parentage. I see that you have a RFE on BC too. Kindly let me know what documents you are planning to provide. My lawyer has asked me to Provide the following:

1. Affidavits regarding the birth...She has drafted a sample affidavit
2. School Records (No Probs...I got them all)
3. Medical Records...Not sure what kind of medical records should I provide...Any inputs????
4. Religious Documents...Have no clue what to provide here.....Any inputs...

I am going to talk about these artifacts in detail with my lawyer tomorrow and will post the details.

I am planning to send affidavits and school records. I think that is enough from others' experience in this forum.

Indiagirl, I did not get 2nd fp notice, I am waiting for that. :rolleyes:
 
Does any one have this situation:
I, primary and derivative have given 1ST FP together. But now, the derivative has received 2ND FP but not me (primary). Derivative has given 2FP on Sep 21. Wondering if this is common?

Nothing with NSC is common or uncommon. Every wierd thing goes.

Anyway, as far as your question goes, I have not seen anything like this. Actually I don't have anyone that I know in a similar situation like this - waiting for 485 approval. Being a relatively old timer in this country (6+ years) all my friends have already gotten their GC longtime back, one got it in < 2 years and he will naturalize in about year and half.

I just received FP 2 notice for both me and my spouse. Its scheduled for 11/18 and 11/19. I hope there will be some progress in my case after FP 2.
