OCI Stamping at New York - Sep 2010

Has anyone recently visited the NY Consulate to get their US passports stamped with the OCI certificate once it shows that documents have been received at NEW YORK CGI ? I'm skeptical of sending the passports by mail.

What are the documents you carried in person to get the stamp ? Here's what I'm taking ...

1. Print out of status (received) for all family members
2. US Passports
3. Indian (Cancelled) Passports

Anything else needed ? TIA.
 
Post 1: US Passports and cancelled indian. Go up the steps, and drop them with the receptionist between 930AM - 11:00 ?? ; and come pick up the passport and OCI booklet after 4:30PM same day.

Take the E train to 53rd & 5th and walk 11 blocks, or take a cab to 64th & Madison and walk the block.
