OCI Name Change

Hello,
I received my OCI for all family last year. My son had a mis-spelling in his name on his birth certificate, which we got corrected and has been issued a new birth certificate. Now are applying for a new passport with the corrected name. Do I need to submit a new application for OCI for my son? or there is no action required. I can carry old passport with OCI stamp along with the new one?

As you will see, a name change amendment on the existing passport could be a possibility; depends on the age of the passport as well as the age of the child.

My question is more related to OCI process. I know the process to file for new US passport. How does my situation effect OCI, if it does. Can't I carry old passport with OCI stamp(my sons) and attach new US passport with corrected name. P.S: I said CORRECTED NAME NOT NAME CHANGE.
