To anyone who has successfully finished the OCI process at the NY CGI, can you please help me with these somewhat trivial issues
1) Has anyone actually had their applicaton rejected because the pictures had a white background instead of a light color one ? I am going to go ahead with the basic passport pictures you get at AAA.
2) They specify that the payment has to be in the form of a demand draft. I am assuming that a US postal money order should also work - correct ?
3) They mention that the copies of supporting documentation (in my case copies of US and Indian passport) need to be self-attested. What does this mean ? Do you have to get them notarized or something ?
4) Also which pages of the passport do you need to make copies of ? Just the data page or all pages of each passport ?
