OCI application /Approval with Name change during Naturelization - Need help

My wife changed the name during naturelization and will be applying with new name for OCI .

will it be an issue on approval ?

Any one applied or get granted with the same . Please kindly clarify us
 
You are doing a family application; aren't you ? There should be no problem. The consulate is used to seeing women's Indian Passport with the maiden name and naturalization certificate with the married name. And btw, as this would be a reconfirming piece of data, is the "mother's name on the birth certificate of your son the same as your wife's maiden name ? or is it the married name ?

if your wife adapted your last name as her's then she only needs to submit marriage certificate copy but if she changed her first name or dropped middle name, then she has to submit name change affidavit, newspaper ad in india and united states.

Her first name is same as in the passport and marriage certificate , she got changes last name as my first name and she will be geeting certificate as orginal fname + My lname .
