Occupation title is different!

Hi all!
I have a question regarding the occupation title and the related ads and recruitment efforts.
I want to apply under EB2. I work for a law office. I have a law degree (In Italy) and a Master in Law (in USA).
I had all the ads and other posts under the tiutle "Law Clerk" but the Prevailing wage determination changed the title and in the occupation title now appears "Lawyer" with related SVP and job zone. That maybe is even better because i relaized that in the ONet description, for a law Clerk there is no need of a master.
What makes me worried is if it si going to be a problem the title of the job is different of the one i used in the ads. The descriptio nof the job is the same but the SWA decided that this description is more appropriate for a lawyer than for a law Clerk.
If i go on with the titile layer, should I use the same title also in the PERM, omitting the title of the ads :"Law Clerk"? in case of an audit is a problem that the title is different? please, note that all the rest is same (wage, description, SVp.....)
thank you so much!

First of all, please differentiate between job opportunity and occupational title. You are talking about SWA changing from Law clerk to Lawyer which does not match your title in the ads. In the ads you use job opportunity title not the occupational title, so of course they will not be the same. However, if you have used Law clerk as the job opportunity title in the ads, and SWA gave you an OCCUPATIONAL title of Lawyer there might be a problem. The reason why is because it is not the same in nature. Also look at what lawyers tasks are on the dept of labor's web site.

Anyway, please clarify the difference in job title and occupational title. Also I have never thought about it before, but an occupational title of LAWYER is a lawyer, are you a lawyer an attorney yourself, have you passed the bar exam? That might be a problem at later stages as well.

Hi thanks for reply.
I did not pass the bar exam yet. This is why i thought it was better to advertise as Law Clerk and I was told that sometimes in a law office the attorney requires that a law Clerk has a law degree. But, when I ask the SWA the PWages, they put as occuoational title "lawyers", probably because in the section degree i asked for Law degree as requirement.
No, my problem is if in the ETA 9089 i should write only lawyer, in all the section (job offered and occupational title) or say the truth and write law clerk in one and lawyer in the other.
Tha fact that i did not pass the bar doesn t seem a problem because in the ONET description, they write only as requisite a Law degree, and in the ads I asked only, in the job requirements, eligible to take the BAR.
My present problem is only what to write in the PERM.
Please answer in many, I have to file the PERM in only one week and i do not want to make mistakes!
