Obtaining H4 Visa

Hi,

I am on OPT and my fiance is on H1B. I'm getting married in India this Dec.

1. What are the chances of me (a US Master's graduate) getting a H4 Visa in India? ( I'm assuming that a dependent visa would be tough to get for a US educated spouse. Is there a law regarding this issue?)

2. What is my best option if I want to return to US after my marriage (H4 / another F1 / H1B)?

Any suggestions in this vague situation are greatly appreciated.

since you had a F1 visa I guess the safest way to reenter would be F1 and then apply for H4 once in US.but the only catch is that you will be on H4 status I don't know if your wife has GC processing going on,if yes then wait till LCA is approved and get EAD and AP and travel on that,...or go to Canada/Mexico for stamping
