I have a question
as usual
When I had a lawyer I asked him about having dual citizenship with USA and Canada. He told me that I could. I confirmed this with my father's new laywer. However, when I read the first sentence of the Oath to the Allegiance I read differently
I'm taking my USA Oath when I am provided the opportunity, but just would like to understand
Am I reading this correctly?
"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen"
Maybe I have too much time on my hands 'till my interview lol
