Hi All,

We have interview this week in San Jose and have a question about oath ceremony.
Assuming all goes well at the interview, when can we expect oath ceremony?
We have one month old infant, can we take him there?
How long does it take for the entire process?

At the time of my interview I got an information pamphlet regarding future oath ceremonies. It says-" children need not be present, However, if children are accompanying their parents, we strongly urge that children remain with a family member in the balcony. The time to process all the applicants 2-3 hours". Of course this scenario is for SF District Office. I do not know exactly about SJ DO and oath ceremony but I assume this is a standard procedure. I know it is hard to go for ceremony with a one month old. May be you can bring your spouse or other family member to take care of your one month old during the oath ceremony. Good luck!
