So I am done with my interviewing process at the Chicago Office. Since I study 3hrs south of Chicago, they offered me to have the oath be scheduled around my university. However, after 50days I haven't received any notice.
To make things worse, I have to be in California for the summer, where I fly out in three weeks. Oh, and did I mention that I have to go to a foreign county in July?!
I called the USCIS, but all they told me was to get an InfoPass appointment at the Chicago office and talk with them over there about this.
Will I be able to get my oath done the same day as my InfoPass appointment or would I have to go back again to get the oath done or worse would I have to wait till my application moves from Chicago to the CA city I am going to? Any advise on how to get my oath done quickly so that I can go to the foreign country as I plan to?
