Oath ceremony

Hey all,

I just got my us citizen interview 3 days ago & passed. The officer gave me the oath ceremony paper for that day......but as I was waiting the officer called me back in & told me they still need a file to be transfered there. So I have to wait for the letter in the mail. I'm worried now.....why did the officer say that & what happens next?
 
Usually your interview is scheduled after receiving your Alien file. Sometimes, some officer will schedule the interview, hoping that the file will be there on time. In your case, it didnt happen
Just be patient. he ll simply check everything you say at the interview.

I already had the interview & passed everything......what I'm waiting for is for the oath ceremony. Did they just misplaced a file or something happened for the officer to ask for that ceremony letter back?
