The oath ceremony is banal at best. Just follow the instructions given by the moderator. Basically,..
1. They tell you what its about( like you don't even know why you are there in the first place.

2. Verify that the nat certificates have your name correctly spelled.

3. Watch a video of the Prez welcoming you as a new citizen

4. Stand, raise your right hand, swear the oath of allegiance.

5. Walk forward when you are called and receive the Cert of Nat

6. Go home and have a drink and toast to your new freedom of travel with little hassle, make love to you Significant Other and thank the Old Man upstairs that all the teenage girls who supple bodies you have been ogling during the summer months didn't come back to bite you in the ass.
Good luck

Oath Ceremony Duration

Hey,

I am scheduled to take my oath ceremony on November 16th and as wondering how long can it take since I get there till I can leave, aprox.
I need to make it to the Federal Gov. Building to get my passport done since I leave 2 days later. My Oath Ceremony starts at 8 am in El Monte Area, and my appointment so far at the Federal Gov. Building on Wilshire (next to 405) is at 12:30 pm.
Will I make it in time ?
