Hello Folks,

So my interview went well and I have my oath ceremony this Friday. The letter I received asks me again regarding my arrests, citations etc etc. What answer should I put down? Yes or No. The reason for the confusion is the question regarding traffic tickets. I cannot remember what i put down on my N400 as it long time ago. My gut tells me to put down "No".

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ray

If you read closer on the oath letter it states to list all arrests, citations after your interview.

AFTER the date you were first interviewed on your Application for Naturalization,
Form N-400:

All of those questions apply to anything that has happened since your interview and before the Oath.

I have actually already checked "no" for all but one on my form and I hope that is not a jinx. The one left open is for traffic citations etc... :O

All of the rest I am sure of, and I am pretty sure I will be able to check that last one "no" at the ceremony. Use your cruise control :)

Ray,

I wouldn't drive fast until I get my citizenship papers complete. No need to speed through the amber light cause a state trooper might be lurking in the bushes nearby....:)

Good luck to you...:D
