NYC transfer approval

My case was approved on 6/?, will go to stamp in the Garden City long island. It was transferred on 4/?/2001. I havn\'t seen the notice yet.

PD 6/97, EB3, RD 11/99.

your case was transferred to local office in Manhattan ? and they asked you
to go for stamping in Graden City ?
Please confirm, only 2 month for NYC local transfer !!! good news !
Can you think of any reason as to why your case was transferred ?
How did you know about the approval ?

My lawyer received it, I haven\'t. I have no idea why they transfer my case to NYC. I did contact the senator\'s office, but no words from them yet. I was also very surprised that NYC approved my case without the interview.

   Thanks for you reply. My case was also transfered to NYC in early april. I talked to my attorney. He says that there are no interviews in New York.

Congrad. it was not an easy journey.
pls can u post more details about your transfer. the preliminary work was done in VSC or in NYC, when the transfer occurred and what is your ND; trying to find a pattern, since mine was tx in 05/30/2001 and the preliminary work was done in VSC. my ND is 06/2000. EB3 category

Why is an I-485 case transferred?

I thought that if you submit your I-485 case to VMC, VMC will approved. So why the case was transferred?
