It was music to my ears when I heard that my case was approved last week on VSC AVM. Finally the struggle bore fruits after almost 7 years and multiple GC process from multiple employers (some of them went bankrupt even before labor was processed - had to restart the entire process from the scratch with a new employer).
Anyway, as I live in upstate NY, I will be asked to go to NYC for stamping.
I have searched the fourm and read some postings on this. My attorney\'s office mentioned that we have only Fridays to get the stamping done - which is fine with me. Hey, whatever they say, will do.
Can anyone post their experience at NYC, including
1. the best time to get in and
2. the documents needed to be taken?
3. I am sure that I will be taking my passport and the approval letter.
4. There was some talk about photos to be taken - what kind of photos? Are they supposed to be regular passport photos or the ones you take for GC with your face turned half way?
5. What forms do I have to fill? Can I fill them before hand by downloading them?
As we have a little son, and that it is December, I truly do NOT want to go early in the morning with the child... What would the crowd be like in the mid morning/afternoon?
