Hi

I already had an interview but by AOS is still pending. I currently don't live with my husband. But my concern is - my case is in Garden City, NY. I am going to live in NJ now. I am thinking about forwarding my mail to one of my friends who live in the city, to keep my records in NY.

I am not sure how it works. If the case is transferd from NY to NJ (Newark), does is affect case (I guess it does), and if it does how. Or maybe NJ is better then NY?????

I will appreciate any help.

Good Luck to All

You cannot forward mail from USCIS, the post office will not deliver mails from USCIS to a forward address or mail box. if you have a forward address and do not call them up and maill the AR-11 with the new address you will never get anything in the mail from them as the post office will send it back to INS.

As for case being transfered I really cannot answer since you have had your interview and I personally havent seen a situation like yours so I will defer the answer to the vetrans on the forum.
