NY non rir labor certification

Check today. It says they are processing October, 2000. That means it jumps another 4 months. My priority is November, 2000. Hopefully, by the new year I will be releived from this nightmare.

The reason could be:
1. Lots of pepole converted Non-RIR case to RIR
2. Lots of layoff happend and pepole whoever applied, no more in the line.
3. May be they hired some extra hand which is highly unlikely though

Non RIR Labor in NY Fedral

Hi All
My priority date is june 1998. my case was apporved from new jersey SESA and sent to New York Fedral Office on Aug23 2001.
Till last month they were processing cased recieved in April 2000.
This month posting says they are processing July 2000. Thatis a 3month jump. Does anyone know whether they have increased their processing speed,. or they just have fewer cases on hand as of now. Looks like a good sign but hey u can never trust them. Any information as to what is going on in new york DOL.

I hear that CA is processing cases very dast now. there must be automated number which u can call to get the status.
Most probably your case has already been approved.
