NVC Says they received case but not in system... What does that mean?

My 824 was approved at VSC on 12/17. Spoke to NVC today and the operator told me that they have the case with them but have not entered in the system. What does that mean? Any idea how long it takes for them to enter it into the system and generate packet 3?

I am in the same boat..they received my papers on 14th but have not created the case. NVC said they r having a 2 week backlog and asked me to call next week. Earlier NVC created the case as soon as they received it. Another 6-10 weeks of wait for the Packet 3(as told by NVC).pal.

call NVC

call NVC at 603-334-0300 between 8 am and 3:45 pm est. Get hold of an operator and give your EAC number of I140.

what does the approval notice say?

On mine, it is written that "The above application has been approved. We have notified the consulate listed above that the applicant\'s status has been adjusted to that of a lawful permanent resident. ...."
But my question is that my status is still nonimmigrant. I didn\'t do adjustment of status in the States. How come the approval notice said I have been adjusted to that? Is this normal? Any gurus have any idea?

I just got my I140 approved and my lawyer chose CP during filing I140.Is there any way i can opt for AC140 by filing and geting the receipt of I824 ??

Don\'t Worry! I got P3 while it was saying Not found in the system

I824 AD- 11/30.

I checked several times and message said Entry Not found.
Lawyer called on 12/20 and told that he got P3.

Don\'t worry. They may not have updated the AVM.

Mine seems not normal. When I file I-824, I chose the third option(totally 3 options). No one is appropriate. The third one seems a litter better. But I stated very clearly that I want to do consular processing. I am afraid that I have to file another I-824. Can you tell me how you filled out the I-824 form?
