Dear Alren, Raju and other CPers -

NVC received my P3 on 11/2 and the message changed to "Your case has been completed on 11/10". I guess this means that they have completed review of my P3. My questions are as under :-

1. What will be the next message - Will it be "Your case has beeen sent to Mumbai Consulate" ?

2. Can I expect interview date towards end Jan / early Feb ?

I guess the countdown now begins for me.

You will see the change in NVC message as "your case has been fwd'ed to mumbai consulate" with in 10days after the completion of review. As Alren,Raju are senior's prolly they can guestimate about your interview time. Hope this helps.

From where do you get these updates?

Is it in the same portfolio at USCIS website that you created to track your I-140?

Or do we need to create another portfolio for NVC? IF so,where and how?

With regard to the date line, this is how it works - if you case goes to the consulate and if it gets entered into their system before 11/20 the your chances of getting Jan 2005 interview is significant. Else you are looking at Feb 2005. Hope this helps
 
I think Feb 2005 seems more likely. Nice time to go to India though. The tickets will be reasonable too.

{Yes}

2. Can I expect interview date towards end Jan / early Feb ?

{As others have already indicated, it is more likely to be a FEB inteview, with a slim chance for JAN}

nvc message for my case says "completed" 11/09. Although, my application is a I-130, me and you seem to be in the same boat. Please, keep updating the post when the next steps happen.
Is there a tracker for I-130 that includes nvc timelines (similar to www.cptracker.com for I-140) ?
