I-140 approved end of april 04.
Received request to pay 335 fee end of August 04
Received DS-230 form beg of Dec 04.
Form processed by NVC Mid Jan 05.

Is this normal speed for CP processing? Give me your experiences please! Some colleagues who went for Adj of status at the same time already are very close to being processed. CP does not save time it seems...

My I-140 was approved in July and i am scheduled for interview in Feb, normally the process takes from 6-8 months depending on the consulate, in your case it seems little bit lengthy, which consulate are you scheduled for.

sofia bulgaria. 6-8 months seems reasonable, my CP will be more like 12 months.

yes, i started my process dec 2001 and it seems i have gone through the slowest path at each stage, very frustrating. so many lost opportunities.
