This message means the Packet 3 is on its way to your attorney.

The second part of the message is referring to what happens once you
send back the packet 3.

Normally it takes about a weeks time for the packet 3 to reach the attorney's
office.

NVC Issued Fee Bill

Hi all

FYI on 8/23/04 NVC issued the Fee Bill reciept. This took exactly 10 days from NVC Case Generated till Issue Fee Bill .

I-140- Apd : 7/14/04

NVC Recd / Case # generated on 8/13/04.

My Lawyer sent G-28 so I assume that NVC took this time from the day they recd and entered in their system till Fee Bill Issue to check the papers.

Oops! My mistake. My mind just registered the last part of the sentence.

NVC receipt advice

Hi Guys,
My 140 was approved on March 22nd and still the NVC has not got it. I called the customer rep and she told me to fax a copy of the Notice. Did that but no response. Lawyers/me have sent letters to USCIS but to no avail - so am in no-no land - neither here nor there. Anyone has any suggestions?

From what I am reading about your case and from what I have read in may posts you have the option of AC-140 if your consulate is Bombay or Delhi. Check that option out. However I don't know how it really works.

Thanks for your inputs. Unfortunately I filed for Chennai CP. Lawyer seems to think that only way out may be to refile the I-140. So have to go thru this mess again I guess. Does anyone has any experience going thru the lawyer's Liaison Committee or the Ombudsman at Nebraska service center?

Try to contact this person I noticed on cptracker.com, the case seems to be similar to yours. Wish you all the best. Refiling 140 seems extreme..

It takes 2 - 3 weeks for NVC to send the fee bill to you / attorney. MKy fee bill was generated on 8/23 and my attorney recd it on 9/8.
