Hi All,

I have 2 Questions:
1)
My wife's Aunt lives in USA. If we want to avoid becomming public charge, how many Affidavits, should she send?
One for my wife or two for both of us?

2)Which Affidavit forms should be completed? I-134 or I-864

Only one affidavit will cover both of you.

You use I134, but the same poverty guidelines as the I864.

but in USCIS site they mention:

Purpose of Form :
To show that visa applicants have sponsorship and will not become public charges while in the United States. The sponsor must file a separate affidavit for each applicant.

It means we must have 2 separated affidavit of supports, not one. What is your idea?

You are right Mehi, its an affidavit of support per applicant.
