NSC working on a Saturday!?

harishds - Is your PD current? When did your wife's name check cleared? Did you notice any LUD changes in your wife's earlier AP/EAD or other applications in the past after her name check cleared?

As of 05/02/06, I was stuck in the name check. Since then, I have seen LUD changes on my H1B on 05/27/06, my EAD on 06/10/06, my old AP on 07/08/06 and my current AP on 07/22/06. All these happened on Saturday. I have not seen any LUD changes on my 485 though. I don't know what it means.

EB3 - Feb 2000
140 AD - Sep 2004
485 RD - June 2005
FP - Oct 2005

Guys, Please post your details. Let's try to find out a pattern (if there is one)

Guys,

Here is what I just noticed:
I-485 LUD changed to 07/29/2006
I-131 (this year, already approved), 07/15/2006
I-131 (last year, already approved and expired), 07/08/2006

Any input as to what might be going on?

Here are my details:
EB2 CHINA NIW
PD 08/2003
I-140 AD Nov, 2004
I-485 RD Dec. 2004
2 EAD/APs so far
3 FPs so far
2 medical exams so far

I realized in June that I was stuck in name check.
 
resal_looc - Whatever I seen on this forum sofar (mine and yours), there were LUD changes on Saturdays for those who were stuck in name check. Eventhough, it could be a batch routine which could have updated all of ours LUD's, but there should be some logic behind it. I don't knwo what that is. Let's wait for more data to determine

answers to your questions.

Our PD is not active as you can see from signature.

I have scheduled an appointment for status check at local immigration office they told me right there that, My wife's Name check is cleared and I'm stuck in the process.

Our 3'rd EAD/AP approved on last week on June 2006. but at that time there was no LUD on I485.

Recent LUD updates

Me and both of my dependents got I-485 LUD update August 2nd. The message
didn't change. We filed I-485 on April 4th and did fingerprinting in May. The
last LUD changes were in May shortly after fingerprinting, and we haven't
done anything related to I-485 since then.

Anyone else got a LUD change on I-485 lately?

Jhawilla - As we hoped, the LUD changes on previously approved cases had some logic behind it (atleast in your case) Hope, the 485 LUD is for good. All the best
 
One more LUD change

The LUDs on all three of our I-485s changed again. I wonder if NSC is
doing center-wide LUD updates. My case is too young (RD 4/4/6) to
be approved.

When my attorney made a status inquiry to USCIS today, they received a pretty vague response (given below) over the phone.

"The application is with the officer for the review and we will contact you when the decision is made"

What does this mean? Is this another standard response? Gurus/Attorney's, please comment

Note: When I inquired last month, I received a letter saying that the application undergoing security checks. As of May 2006, I was stuck with name check
 
I hope this will cheer up people here. The Saturday LUDs do not mean "stuck in name check". I got LUD on my approved AP on 7/22 and my I485 was approved on 8/2. Received the card 1 week later.

I wish best of luck to everyone and don't loose hope! There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes, me and my wife had FP Code 3 in May. Had LUD changes on
both our applications after that for a couple of days.
 
Is NSC working on Saturday

Hi,

I saw LUD today (Aug. 12, 2006) in my I-140 (EB-1A) petition. Does it mean anything? I do not know what to make out of this. It is happening after about one and half months.
 
My case got transfer from TSC to ? NSC. Is that what this message means on our cases.
Also If it is NSC how they will process our 485 now? new case # with LIN or still the case # SRC.
