So, since July (or was it June?) we all have to send our employment based I485 to NSC, even if our I140 was approved somewhere else. By some random pattern, it appears that NSC sometimes is taking between 3-6 weeks (or more?) to acknowledge the application then either keeps it and other times sends it to TSC (anywhere else?). It seemed that for those who ended up at TSC gets an FP notice comes right away; for those (like myself) who stayed at NSC it took them (in my case) 8 weeks to send the FP notice (and for me, only got it after I replied to RFE).
So, what's going on with those who ended up with application at TSC do you know what's the status of it now? Any recent approvals? RFE? Interesting to see where the first approval (for the people who applied around august) will come from, NSC or TSC??
AFter they received my RFE reply the phone message says it will take them 60 days to give me a response, but not sure how accurate that is? Any ideas?
Also, after FP is done iis it just a matter of waiting for name check clearance? Why does it take forever for some people during name check? a very common or uncommon name? What else do they do in terms of background check?
