NSC sucks once again

I tried calling NSC today and heard the irritating music for 42 minutes and finally gave up. It looks like, they now decided NOT to take our calls or put us on a long hold so that we give up calling. :mad: :mad:

I don't know what's going on at NSC. I don't see any approvals either.:(
 
They are probably holding off till a decision is made about the July mess (and also maybe the Aug bulleting)

I am hearing all kinds of rumors re: this :D
 
I called NSC just few minutes back ...That lady was very rude couldnt give any proper info, told me to check the status online I told it shows pending from dec 2004 , then she took my LIN and said I have some pending like security check , I told that last week when I called They told everyhting is cleared but waiting for the officer to review.

Again after few secs she told the same old crap thing
"waiting for an officer to review , lot of pending cases are there, moreover no visa numbers are available for approval , so no officer will come and review my case for apporval ,so call after oct 2007"

That Lady was trying to avoid me while speaking but somehow I hold on to get some msg, but she refused all of my questions.

Too many people are calling for frivolous reasons. Genuine callers will not be able to get to cust service because of them.

Can you please tell us how exactly you tell a frivolous(silly and foolish) call from a genuine call?

I am under the impression that we all have our 'own' situations, and no one should try to judge other people's actions.

Guys, Please calm down..we all are not enjoying this GC process....please keep your cool...be cool......no fighting with each other. :D
 
Called NSC today 07/17

I called NSC again today about my 2 Service Requests I have put in last 2 months. The IO said, he can see those two SRs but they are waiting for CSC agents to pickup and then redirect to NSC. NSC directly can not reply to these SRs since they went to CSC first because my case was filed at CSC originally and has number starting with WAC.. . This explains, why both of these service requests were never replied...never assigned :( .

However, Even though, I didn't ask, the NSC IO said that my case was assigned to the officer (Confirmed it earlier many times with different IO @NSC). Nothing new :( .

He also said, The cases will be assigned to the Officer only when Visa Number is available for the case (Let's hope, It's true). :D

He said, it will take about 30 days for the officer to take any decision on the case.

Can't do more ...just wait ;)

Let me explain. get_gc04's call is genuine because (s)he did not get any response to SR and wanted to know what was going on.
As an example of "frivolous" call, someone in the TSC forum mentioned he called TSC every day for the past 20 days. He was not looking for any new information - he just wanted to prod TSC to approve his application.

All of us want our GCs right now, but just think - what if every one started calling every day. Can you imagine what would happen? I can - they'd just turn of the lines. Whom will you call then, esp if you really need to call for a good reason, for example you didn't get your FP request, and they've issued a NOID. It's happened to a lot of people.

Like it or not, we are just like bugs in their eyes. Customer Services??? you must be kidding.
 
Partiality with CSC-->NSC cases?

This is not fair...once again..it looks like NSC is treating CSC-->NSC transferred cases differently.....I don't see approvals for transferred cases...only once in a while.....NOT FAIR AT ALL :(

I didn't see you for couple of days so i thought u left this board. but from monday you are back. Now everything is current so I hope you will get your GC soon. All i can do is pray for you. :)

Well...I am here to rott in USCIS HELL :( Where to go ? :mad:
I called NSC on Monday...and same answer...Case assigned to officer...now I doubt, officer has gone on vacation....(Yes, Anything is possible at USCIS) and we are thinking that they are working hard(ly?) :D ....I feel bad, July2003filer that you have to check this forum because of me....but it's not in my hands....you will surely get the news first when I see those sweet e-mails ;) (still hope to see them).
