NSC says "security check pending" - senator & fbi says "security check complete"

any ideas how to resolve this?

I called TSC today and same experience they said my security check is pending. I didn't buy it, as I felt she just made that up. After seeing your experience I am sure they are using this to get us off of their back.

I had called TSC on 6/11 and IO had told me all is well and my case is waiting to be assigned. Go figure...

I called NSC today for 485 pending status. She was very nice and said that my case is pending for security check. Am not sure what should I do at this point? My I140 is also pending for last 5 months. Any advise. Please let me know.
