DIY filed NIW at NSC on Sep. 28. received RFE on Nov. 7 as follows

"
Additional evidence is requested to evaluate eligibility for a national interest waiver pursuant to the test established in Matter of New York State Department of Transportation, 22 I & N Dec. 215 (Comm. 1998) (please note: the evidence already submitted demonstrates that the proposed research employment has substantial intrinsic merit).

Please submit copies of any published articles by other researchers citing or otherwise recognizing your research and/or contribution. Please highlight the portion of the paper that references your work and highlight your name in the bibliography or "work cited" section. It is not necessary to submit work that you and/or your own colleagues
authored that cites your own work.

Please submit documentary evidence of the impact your patents have had in the field, if applicable.

You must establish you have a past record of specific prior achievement that justifies projections of the future benefit to the national interest. You must establish, in some capacity, your ability to serve the national interest to a substantially greater extent than the majority of your colleagues. You must demonstrate to some degree your influence on your field of employment as a whole."

I am not sure about how to respond the third one. Could somebody help me and give me some hint?

Hi,

I am relatively new to this forum. Others might have more to say about this
but regarding the 3rd, I think you might need to submit more letters from experts indicating how your achivements are significant compared to others in your field. Also, articles etc (on the internet or anywhere else) that quotes the importance of your research might help.

Can you please let me know what your background is and the # of citations / publications / letters you submitted just so that it would help me. I filed my NIW around the same time on Sep 27th and did not get any response from NSC. Looks like I might get an RFE too.

Thanks much

Sorry about RFE
You must establish you have a past record of specific prior achievement that justifies projections of the future benefit to the national interest
Well here you need to get some letters from people who potentially are interested in your work in future. Say your finding now will lead to XYZ benefit to their industry (any kind of boost) which will benefit millions and so so ways.

You must establish, in some capacity, your ability to serve the national interest to a substantially greater extent than the majority of your colleagues.

Here you must establish thru your acaheivements/letters and discuveries that you are amg 1-2 % internatinally in that area. How your basic training and cahivements is outstanding.

Don't worry about it, my friend. Please get more reference letters from independent witness, which state that you are better that other people in your field, and you have influenced the field as a whole. Then add new citations.
Actually I had the same problem as you before. After I sent my RFE response back, my I-140 got approved the next day. Good luck!

What are exact words for yoru RFE?
People may suggest lawyer ...try sending Personal message for that.
sometime lawyers don't go just for RFE .
alternatively, You may get some suggestions here to start with.

Getting RFE for MIW is routine now a days. Your RFE is quite stateforward. You will do fine. As we are not aware of your background and achivements. It might be difficult to suggest few things. Please try to read AAO decisions of your center from BCIS site before working on RFE. Hows your citation record. If that is good that go to individual paper and prepare RFE letter quoting the said statements. Send copies of those papers and also try writing to those authors for letters stating clearly good things about your work. Pay thrust on your unique expertise which an donly which will lead to sucess and national interest. somthing like "Mr. XXX has established his successful past record of the achievements in XXX project. ...thsi will include some more good letters, award mention and other achievements
