Just checked the NSC voice system, approved on 08/16/2001. Here are the details:

No RFE... Spouse approved too. I am coming off the project tomorrow, and was really worried about being laid off before this thing is over. Now anxiously waiting for the approval notice and PP stamp (spouse\'s passport is expired !!!)
Some more facts:
Called and talked to IIO yesterday. She said she can\'t tell me anything about my case, but it is not currently assigned to anyone. But she did clearify that during the span of approval process, you file is looked by many different people.
Two weeks ago I faxed and emailed my local congressman that I am afraid my case may be delayed (I just took a shot at it, knowing I wasn\'t out of queue yet)
I got the postal reply next day that they have talked to IIO, and my case is within current processing times and should be processed in next three months.
