NSC has given the new processing report

NSC is not lying. The time is what it takes for a file to be touched, not for approval. Your file has been touched and it then was stuck somewhere. I think you'll get your approval very soon.
 
unlcky and sabiradm, did you contact senators? Are your cases special (like from special registration countries, etc.)? I cannot imagine I have to wait 6 more months like you guys did.

Contacted senator's office 6months back. INS keep telling
senotor's office that they are waiting on FBI name check. I am from INDIA
 
I am from Pakistan (special registration country) ... I have visited the Senator Durbin office this afternoon and they said that they will let me know the status of my application within a month... just waiting to see light at the end of the tunnel....My 2nd FP were done in NOV '03 so I hope that my file is no longer sitting in some cabinet and someone is working on it …
