NSC Finger Printing NSC question

Hello all

How much time is it taking / has it taken to get a finger print after applying for re-entry permit at NSC ?

I am not really aware of how soon before I leave the country should I send in my application for re-entry permit.I wastold it should not be too much before my actual departure.

I will give a Delhi address for NSCto send the permit to the US consulate there.Will they also send my finger printing notice there ?Can I get finger printing done at the consulate ?Or will I have to be here to get it done?

I would really appreciate some thoughts from folks out here.

There is very wide range from few days up to months depending in your address and how busy the center is, if this is first appliation or frequent .....etc
