NSC EB1-OR I-140/485 (Nov-Dec 2006) Tracker

Even though there is a separate forum to track I140s I would like to start another one here for several reasons. First of all, that tacker has only a single entry for EB1 OR category. Secondly, Nov-Dec'06 was a peculiar period when NSC was severely lagging in even sending the receipt notices (typically 1-8 weeks delay). Also, expected procesing dates released by USCIS will (hopefully!) soon be catching up with this timeframe. Finally, I have been follwing trackitt.com for this info too but so far not much info is available there either. I would appreciate feedback from all you to get a better estimate on the timeline. Thanks.

I do not fall in Nov/Dec timeframe but I did get the notice way later than actual receipt date and have been waiting for a while for any LUDs.

Recd. 9/11/06... Notice date: 10/03/06
Concurrent; FP done Mid-Nov.
No LUDs after initial receipt... not even after FP
 
Friends, a little more help please. I need as much info as possible, especially from those of you whose I140 got approved faster, since I am planning to change job after 180 days of filing. Thanks.
 
still no response:( does it mean that not many people filed around nov-dec time frame or that its too early to expect a decision???:confused:
 
It's definitely too early to expect a decision-- the current date for NSC is Aug 1, 2006, which is at least a big jump from the previous date of June '06, so they are at least moving through the pile. I'm hoping that I will at least see an update in the next month, I promise to post here as soon as I see any action.

The other thing to note is that I think the majority of posters here used the EA or NIW categories, so may not respond. There aren't too many of us ORs here!

I'll second WaryOR's comments... Not many people on this forum are from "OR" category. So, unlikely you will get more response. If you want, you may want to check NSC I-140 tracker in the I-140 thread.
 
I guess you both are right. unfortunately I140 tracker in the other forum is as uselss for EB-OR (just one entry!). so, it seems NSC is taking at least 6 months to process our cases :( even though I have often found that those predicted dates present a very pessimistic estimate when it comes to other centers, may be NSC holds on to them for its timetable:)

From trackitt... A person with the username "thesaint" got approved recently. Receipt date: 08/29; Notice date: 09/25; Approval date: 03/30/07 - Regular processing.

On the other hand, I do wonder whether this approval is under "EB1B" as the person has filed a labor a few days before USCIS receipt date. May be it is EB2 wrongly selected as EB1B.

If it is EB1B, then WaryOR could be next in the line :) Good luck!

Congrats, WaryOR! Mine got approved today as well :) Saw an LUD in the afternoon...and the emails came few hours later!

That feels good, uh? Enjoy! NSC seems to be moving along nicely... definitely for EB1B petitions. Also, dont be surprised if you get your 485 approved soon as well. You can notice in Trackitt site that EB1B 485s are getting approved (applied around Oct. timeframe). Hopefully I'll hear something soon... Enjoy for now before starting to worry about that.

After this nothing happen. I have seen ppl got approval in two weeks after sending reply on rfe.

EB1-OR: At least there has been some activity in your 485... I can understand your anxiety as a result of that. Mine is worse. No activity at all since october (actually received mid-september). No LUDs till date after "receipt date". Dont know what to make of that!!! Not sure whether it makes you feel any better... I just would be happy to see some activity rather than none :D
