Go under how is USCIS doing recently. There are 02,03, and even some 2004 cases aproved.

The only Range that NSC totally ignored (barring a few who did get fp1 recently) are 485 filed between May/June 03. Reason is :
1) Jan 03/APR 03 are getting FP2 notices.
2) July/Aug 03 onwards - we are seeing many cases getting I 140/I 485 approved almost concurrently.
3) 485's filed in May/June got our fp1s done sometime in March/Apr 04 and then, complete silent. We are neither in the bracket of either 1 or 2 above.

Folks, don't despair! These particular numbers do not mean much. Let's say one is a few months away from approval. He adds his spouse as a derivative beneficiary. Both get approved when the primary applicant gets approved. In the stats this will look like a very recent application has been approved. Marriage-based cases are the same thing. If, for whatever reason, I add beneficiaries late, their LIN numbers are higher than mine and will show up as more recent approvals. I am not sure that ImmigrationWatch focuses on EB cases only. Add to that the (typically simpler and faster) NIW and EB1 situations, and it is a very mixed set of numbers that is impossible to draw trends from.

Hi I'm a May 03 filer too. and I agree with you regarding us not falling in either catagory 1 or 2. It's really frustating.

No, but senator's office checked for me and confirmed that they have the results.

Absolutely no change in my Status. Trying to contact FBI and seek details.
