Most people don't provide the LIN or whatever number nor in full or partially in rupnet, so I'd guess that they scan the USCIS website/webserver. This way they should be getting a lot more data, and after they filter/classify it then they'd publish it... At least this is my interpretation, but again, don't take my words seriously!

I was wondering the same thing, myself. Come to think of it, what happened since 7/15? and if it's 207 for the first 2 weeks, how is that going to take cre of the backlog? I know it's more than in the past, but still..........

They approved 207 cases so far from 07/01/2004 to 07/15/04

According to immigrationwatch.com for 2002, Here are some numbers:
Total Filed Approved
NSC: 162045 52842 (32.6%)
CSC: 39544
VSC: 81965
TSC: 65811

As you see just 33% of applications in NSC have been Approved. If USCIS keeps the same speed (207 approvals in 15 days) or (14 approvals per day),
It takes about 7800 days (21 years) to approve all 2002 cases.

You want to see why the other service centers are faster, look at the numbers. See how NSC is crowded compare to the other service centers.

I don't know what happen in NSC, but I know it's damn slow. Maybe that should be a good question to ask from USCIS Director in court.

My case was approved on 7/14/04 and its not in the list. LIN-02-207 because the website never updated my case. It still says RFE respose was received on .....
