NSC again goes mum.(No Approvals last two week!)

NSC goes mum again in I485 approvals. This is their 4th year
in row they take summer vacation. Unfortunately, every
application I file happnes in winter.
When I filed I140 in winter, they took the next
summer off and approved 10 months later. By that time, PDs were gone
last year. I waited another summer to get PD and filed I485 last
December and now they are taking this summer off.
What a lovely story!. Next year I complete 10 Years in US. INS
provision gives GC for people who stayed 10 years. I am hoping
I will get that at least, couple of summers later!!!

My Labor took 2.8 years, because Labor guys took 2 summer vacation
before they approved mine. Now, its turn with INS folks.
But, I will get there.

Not only that, they are sitting on my 7th Year H1B petition for
the last 6 months, because INS still working to read and understand
the AC21 law during the last 7 months since the law was enacted.

Anti Immigrant republican president has sent informal directive to INS to slow down the immigration processes for legal immigrants. They like only illegal immigrants. Another reason is that they have plans to implement prem processing for I485 also. If they implement prem processing for i485 then everybody will pay $1000 including waiters like you who applied in dec 99. They just want to torture immigrants and extort money.

no man. I got my I-485 approval yesterday. My case was approved on 5/29/01 and INS mailed courtsey copy to me on 5/30/01 and I received it on 6/1/2001.

But small glitch, my wife\'s application has not been approved yet. Her FP was rejected by FBI and we are still waiting for second FP notice.

Greetings. You had mentioned about a provison to file for GC if one\'s been in the US (legally I assume) for 10 years. I\'d appreciate it if you could post basic information on this if you know it.

Since your FP was done in Jan, I assume so was your wife\'s. In that case you should contact the local INS office to find out why she hasn\'t received a redo notice. Typically they send those out within a month of rejection of the first FP. If she got hers done recently then ignore this.

I\'m not convinced NSC is approving I485s. We should see tons of
Approvals to prove my theory wrong.

May be I am missing something or mis-reading something, but http://www.immitracker.com/nsc/approvals.html shows that there have been 10 approvals since 5/24/2001. That list was last updated on 6/2/01 at 4:28:25 PM E.T. by Myladoor. Once he updates it again, I am pretty confident that there will be more approvals.

These approvals prove your theory wrong. If you are trolling, get a life!
