Hi,

To which address should we mail the EAD & AP renewal documents for NSC? I see couple of different P.O Box numbers and a Chicago address also!! !!
Which one should I use, also can I send it through Fedex (it says P.O Box??).

Also I am applying for EAD & AP for myself and my wife, can I mail them all in one package?

I appreciate any advice on this.

FYI My 485 is pending in NSC and this is my 3rd EAD & AP renewal

Thanks

You can put both of your and your wife's application in one package.

The address is:

U.S.Department of Homeland Security
Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services
Nebraska Service Center
850 "S" street
Lincoln, NE 68501

You can send it by FedEx, but remember to ask for receiver's signature.

I am doing my first EAD and AP renewal. I have two questions for you since you have already renewed twice.
Q1, how to fill item 14 on I-765 form?
Q2, when renew AP, should I attach my previous AP approval notice?

------------ You can mail EAD for both in one envelope and AP in one envelope. It is always better to send in separate envelopes to avoid any mistake some time USCIS will fix your spouse photo on your EAD and your EAD will have her photo. Don’t save on envelopes.

I appreciate any advice on this.

Q14 on I-765

Thanks for the info fastapproval.

FYI my previous approvals were done by my attorney. This is the first time I am doing it on my own. But luckily I had the copy of my previous I-765 application form. For Q14 it is written as "H-1B". From the prior postings I read that you have to attach the copy of your previous AP. I am planning to do the same.

Thanks

Thanks Ginnu

ginnu,

As always thanks for your advice. I have one more question. I already asked this question, but I got different feedbacks about this from different people.

My address will change on September 1st. Assuming that I send the application next week, I don't think it will get approved and new EAD & AP will be sent to me before end-of-August to my current address.

What should I do if my address changes

1. Before my EAD & AP are approved (Application Pending)
2. EAD/AP approved but not mailed?

Are there any risks. Some forum members suggested that it shouldn't be a problem. But some mentioned that if it is approved before changing new the address it will be problem and I have to re-apply  . Kindly advice.

Thanks

--------------- it may or it may not

1. Before my EAD & AP are approved (Application Pending)
---------- you can send the address change but the risk is you send change of address on 10 August and They approve on 11 August

2. EAD/AP approved but not mailed?
----- EAD AP approved and pending in mail room to be sent to you on 10 august and your change of address is also recieved on same day it means they will send EAD ap to the address on applications

Are there any risks. Some forum members suggested that it shouldn't be a problem. But some mentioned that if it is approved before changing new the address it will be problem and I have to re-apply  . Kindly advice.
------------ all the above is correct, EAD AP may be sent to old addrees then goes back to USCIS, if gets approved early may come to your present address and that all is guess work nobody can give you correct answer.

**I dont know your full details. if you are not using EAD and not planing to use AP better apply AP, EAD AFTER you move so that no confuction.

Thanks

Ginnu,

Thanks. I am not in EAD and not used AP. I am still on H1B. I am renewing EAD & AP as my attorney adviced so. I just wanted to renew it as I have travel plans and I have to get my H1 extension stamped during the trip. I want to have AP renewed, as a backup during my travel.

The EAD is expiring on first week of September and parole expires on 2nd week of September.

What is the worst that could happen if the EAD & AP is mails are returned to USCIS, will they send it back to me, if i call and give the new address? or do i have to re-apply?

Can I ask USCIS to send the documents to some other address? I found some thing like mailing to different address in I-131 application, but nothing like that in I-765!

Kindly advice

Thanks

----------- then apply AP ONLY through lawyer and approved AP will come to Lawyer address and you can collect from lawyer office.

------------- you are applying AP as back up, if the AP does not come to you before you go out what is the meaning of that AP? many have to apply again and many keep on writing to USCIS to resend EAD AP to new address

--- USCIS will send to the address you provide on form I-131 and I-765. you are on H1 and if you provide diffrent address on I-131 and I-765 then by law you you need to file form AR11
Kindly advice

Thanks
*** apply only AP and apply through Lawyer if AP is applied through lawyer it will come to lawyer address.

ginnu,

Thanks. I am doing this on my own, since my attorney is expensive and i have to bear all the cost. I will try to apply once my address changes.

Thank you very much for taking time and explaining everything.
