Now what?

My congressman's office made an inquiry to CIS, and was told the hold up is name check. He then made another inqury with FBI, and was told the name check was completed 4 months ago before I had my citizenship interview...Now he is making another inquiry with CIS... what the heck is going on?

Just keep at it. Every time Congressman's office sends an inquiry to USCIS local office there is an activity on your case and they have to resond to the Congressman's office in a timely fashion. One of these days, they will straighten it out. Be persistent. Good luck.
