I am working on EAD and mine is expiring tomm. :confused:

My current EAD is going to be expired in 2 weeks.
I am hearing different news, working on expired EAD.
My attorney says, I can work on expried EAD for 6 months, I do not know howfar it is true and One of my friend has a ILIA news docuemnts which says we can work on expried EAD (I did not see that news, but he has a copy of it) and he worked even after the EAD is expried.
What will happen if we continue to work on expried EAD ? I read in immihelp.com, according to it, there is no problem for us, but If INS comes to know that the company is permitted to work on expried EAD, they may fine employer.

Please write what you know.

RD Nov 12th
ND Nov 23rd

EAD expired yesterday. I don't know what to do. I called IIO today and they told me it will take about 3weeks. She also said that it has been assigned to an officer.

How long does it typically take? I hope it does not take that long.

Right now, I'm still working for the company but am not going to take a pay for the period or at least till I get the EAD.

Let me know if I have any other options.

Mine seems to be a strange case.. I have applied for my EAD renewal and i dint hear anything from INS yet (No RD/ND yet!!). I have spoken to IIO's several times.. but they said that my record is not in their computers yet!!

current EAD is expiring in Mid Jan. I am reapplying again tomorrow.

Any cases similar to mine???

Any suggestions are also welcome.

Yes, I am still working on expired EAD. I did informed to my manager but there are no response from them either.

I think I might get my renewed EAD any moment. So lets hope good.

THe online message says that my EAD was received on NOv 23rd.

I have a new job offer on hand...am confused as to what to do...wait for the EAD or join? Any comments?!

Mine is a worser situation. I also have another Offer in hand and I'm working for a company and My EAD has expired. So I'm waiting for my approval so that I can quit the present company and join the other company. I know it feels terrible.
