I was very happy with the starting number but the progress seems to be slow.
December has been typically slow due to the holidays, but these numbers are just too low considering the September/October figures :(

I am going to presume KCC has more insight into the response rate and number of interviews embassies can schedule than we do. If you go back far enough in history you’ll see that DV can be quite variable year to year, hard to say if something is “too low” when you don’t know the reasoning behind it.

Very true, just like what happen in DV 2022. Nobody has expected the process to hit 54,335 at the end of of the Fiscal year.

probaby should have phrased it differently, e.g. "...too low for me..." :) Even is the cutoff was 20k and outside my number, I probably would have said its too low again. My frame of reference is my case number(s) :)

Monthly visa issuances for 09/2022 have been released. 14257 visas were issued, 56703 total in DV2022.

AF 6288
AS 2821
EU 4842
NA 0
OC 162
SA 144

Updated charts are available at https://dvcharts.xarthisius.xyz/

NOTE: One important thing worth mentioning here (especially seeing ~57k). This data is not supposed to be aggregated. By their (DoS) definition it includes any issuance regardless of the fact a visa could have been issued earlier for the same person, e.g. someone lost passport and had their visa reprinted. Therefore the total is definitely overshooting an actual number of issued DV visas.

It also omits the AOS issuances. Say 1500 AOS. Maybe around 3250 visas over the cap of 55k(incl. Nacra).
The difference between aggregate of issuances and the actual issued people up to 18th September is 2,338 according to a declaration filed by the government in one of the lawsuits.
