RFE asking for pay stubs issued on May 26, responded to by lawyer, and received by USCIS on June 30th, 2004.

Did you check with them to see if Name check was cleared for your FP or is it still stuck
 
haven't checked if the name check has been cleared yet.. but the online msg says that they received the FP results and the process has been resumed... think I should check it..

I guess you have to call some number starting with area code 202 or something to get the info. check in the forums for it.
If your name check is completed, i think you are all set for approval right?
 
yea i've the # to call but I guess I am little lazy to do it....and I am not sure it gets approved after Name check is cleared...

How will you know the FP notice has been issued ?

Folks,

My 485 was filed on 11/03/03 . Will the online status for the 485 change if one gets a FP notice ?? . How will one know that he has received FP notice ?? Is it from the Lawyers ?

Please let me know,

I've seen lots of reports of people receiving their FP notice when the status message hasn't changed yet.

They do have FP sent / FP received messages but they don't seem to be using these consistently at the time that the FP notice goes out / FP results are received.

Another question that I have is does the applicant and the dependant receive the notice at the same time . My wife has received her FP notice and I am still waiting ..

Is this normal or do I have to call the 800 number. Please let me know .
 
i think it is quite normal to do the FP at different times for the applicant and the dependents.. it may not be at the same day for both.... i did my FP on aug 5th and my spouse received the notice now and it is scheduled for 8/31..checked with couple of friends they said they got it like that too..asked attorney to enquire about it.. got the same answer..so do not worry you will be getting it soon..

If your ND is 11/03/03 then the best guess at this point is between about 5 months (based on the VSC continuing to process 3.4 days worth of I-485 cases for every day that passed and the current official processing date of 08/26/02) and 13 months or longer (based on the fact that very few people in the 2003 tracker have been approved and assuming that the VSC is still largely stuck at around August 2002).

We should definitely start to know more once people from the tracker are getting approved in earnest although with the ongoing changes to the way cases are handled... who knows?

i wish i could answer your question... :eek: i am not sure how long it is going to take for the 485 approval after FP.. somewhere in this forum seen that some one did FP 4 times.. but let us hope for the best and be optimistic..... :cool:
