Nov VISA Bulletin - Same old shit in another month

There is still some hope.............

In this bulletin read –

D. EMPLOYMENT PREFERENCE VISA AVAILABILTIY
Information will be listed on Friday.

This can keep the hopes alive for another few days. (Though this may not be the case, but to remain optimistic) I’ll interpret these lines as – “they had some issue and were not able to reach to any conclusion, and posted these old numbers. On Friday they may come out with better numbers.”
Do not kill me if they do not, I am just trying to keep morale high for another few days.

Guys..

D. Employment preference category

is different not for us....

I cannot believe that you guys come up with something....just having too much hope

Danp,
It is very sure that this category is related to us.
Usually this referred paragraph D is reserved for providing some explanations and predictions for this category.
What I am not sure is that on Friday they will provide additional explanation OR they will re-do numbers themselves.
The wording suggests (51% chance) that they may redo the dates/numbers it self.

Another round of Suspense

I am sure D.Employment Preference Category is for EB Categories but not sure why DOS is getting us into another round of suspense roller coaster.

This just means that guidance on future visa availability will be provided on Friday. As for the numbers, they are final for November. If they were going to rework the numbers on friday, they might as well have delayed the release of november bulletin, as there is no rush as far as they are concerned....its for november after all!

They said "Friday", but not sure which Friday.....
It is DOS.....

It depends on how do you want to interpret – Optimistic or Pessimistic. In this difficult time, knowing that there is very little hope, I would like to remain Optimistic.

My reasoning is-
(1) State department is still struggling with the numbers.
(2) There is pressure that they have to come out with the bulletin well ahead of end of the month, not only for the sake of USCIS, but also for the consulates, to plan for next month’s appointments etc. Therefore they publish worst-case numbers, knowing that they can always improve from there.
(3) Projections in paragraph D, are customary not a requirement. Also unlike cutoff dates, projections are informatory in nature, and do not carry any legal bindings. Therefore when they repeated October’s cutoff dates, they could have easily repeated October’s projections too. But they said, some thing more is coming. And that can not be just projections only.

Again, it is just my interpretation based upon understanding of this unpredictable system.

Commander: Agree with you

Lets keep some optimism here!!!

The fact that they have listed that tells me they could either revise the numbers for Nov. or give a more *positive* guidance about when/how numbers will move going forward. Both are good or us.

On to Friday!!!

I hope this dream comes true and they put the dates much ahead.

Have you seen Shawshank Redemption? Based on Stephen Kings' novel. He says:

Hope is a good thing. Probably the best of things..and no good thing ever dies...

PD back to '02

how many of you think that they'll move the PDs back to June '02 (EB3-India). I strongly believe in it & i've many reasons to think that way...don't ask me why at this time.....
BUT if it does happen...JUST REMEMBER THIS POST & reply...

Visa number movement unlikely unless congress acts

The movement of PD is unlikley unless the congress acts and passes a relief provision.
Lets pray that something good comes out of the meeting tomorrow
