Any Nov/Dec 2003 Approvals ?

There have been a couple of Nov approvals in the last few weeks. The VSC seems to mainly be in Oct at the latest so far though.

Are they into slow mode again? I was tracking few Nov 7 Cases, none of them got approved.

Actually, they seem to be moving along at a decent clip -- they're just not into November yet (the official date just moved to 10/14/03).

Their "leading wave of processing" seems to be around Sep/Oct currently with what appears to be a 2nd wave of processing for Jul/Aug cases (and who knows what is happening with cases which are older than that though).

I'm hoping that I catch one of these waves...

nov dec approvals

i wonder if nov and dec cases will see the benefit of the fujie ohata memo. to date, i have not seen in these postings that FP or 485's have been adjuidcated concurrently with the 140. my date is nov 14th and i'm praying....
as you all know, its been a tough 6 years being used, abused, taken advantage of, etc.....
lets cross our fingers.
good luck to all.
anyone think we will benefit from the FO memo?

This is the same speculation that went on when the VSC started to get close to October cases and the processing dates for EB2 (non-NIW) and EB3 cases were both moved to 10/01/03 (the start of the fiscal year).

Some people suggested that FOM would start as of 10/01/03 cases but it looks like the VSC is plowing through the October cases now....

We've yet to see any significant change in the way FP notices are being sent (to implement FOM, at some point FP notices will need to be sent for cases for which the I-140 has yet to be processed -- we haven't seen this happen yet afaik).

Yeah, there have been a couple of fast concurrent approvals I believe but who knows when / if they'll switch to FOM completely...

If they have to approve concurrently, we should have gotten our FPs' by now. whole process for FP takes couple of months. and USCIS will be done with OCT in 2-3 weeks. They cannot sit tight and not approved any cases beyond oct. I think our cases will be approved in the regular stream.

CONCURRENT ND: NOV 13/03

thank you aks999

aks999:

thank you for your post. i guess what you said sounds valid....that's what i was afraid of. but it is sort of a double edged sword.....
on the one hand, i want my 140 right away so that i can use ac21.
on the other hand i want my greencard in a few months, rather than waiting another year or so until USCIS figures out how to implement the FO memo.....

best of luck to all......go green! douglas

I also wish to get concurrent approval. we can trade ac21 for few months of delay for concurrent approval. But, I fear thats not gonna happen.

Good luck to all

if job is secure for next 6 months, then better to wait for concurrent approval. isn't it?

We are in USA, any thing can happen any moment, I can take risk with AC21 than waiting for concurrent approval...
