First of all thanks everybody has been helped me before.
******TIME ZONE********
We drove from CENTRAL TIME ZONE to Atlanta EAST TIME ZONE, 4.5hr driving distance, after we left 1.5hr, I suddenly notice Atlanta time is one hour earlier than us. So my 2:30 interview should be 1:30 my time. Because there never has people mention this, so I almost forgot.
BE CAREFUL, THOSE CHANGING TIME ZONE INTERVIEWEE.
******TIME ZONE********
okay, let's back to business, (by the way, today I saw 13 cop on Highway, including 2 undercover, speeding friends be caution.)
after our way--- speeding, finanly we signed in at 2:20, 10mins before interview. Public parking cross street, $8, very easy. Go thru sercurity, then upstairs Room287, put interview notice in a box, no forms need fill in, nobody push you around, very kindly. Lobby have a lot seats, and a lot doors. later I found out each door will come out some officer calling your name, those are the doors go to interview office. Not too long, a black lady came and called my name, pronounce very good, at least I can understand she is calling me. we went inside, a lot offices on the hallway, all kind of interview are processing。
Black lady told us she was waitting for us, and check lobby many time. we are very sorry, and explain to her because of the time zone has been changed. (I know that time we are late than 2:30)
she ask question at the same time file up the papers, so I don't really remember which question is first, which document she asked second.
anyway she asked my passport, I-94, DL first, then my husbands DL.
asked me questions:
1) my DOB
2) parents' first name,
3) my SSN,
4) how long we got marry
5) What status I came in US at the first time?
asked my husband's questions:
1) what kind of job
2) where live
3) household
Asked papers:
1) home mortgage,
2) bank statement,
3) medical insurance,
4) 2004 tax return(I asked she about w-2, she took it)
5) husband's retirement pay statement
She didn't ask, but I gave to her.
1) car insurance, (because we had car insurance on both name, 1.5yrs longer than we get marry)
2) medical report
3) ead, ap
I asked, but she still don't need it:
1) no need to look at photos
2) husband's part-time job statement
All the documents she only required for copy, even didn't take a look on originals. I feel all I gave to her are those never sent in when we initial apply for I-485 & I-130.
Come is those NO questions on I-485, later she made copy for all the IDs, then stamped my passport, haha, she just made my day!
She explain a little bit about stamp, conditional card, and removal condition process, then let us go. After we pickup everything, sit back to the car, time 3:11. So the whole thing not even take 1hr, including waitting.
P.S.
A lots of parpers we prepared but she don't need it. I think carry as much as you can think still better than few. you never know what kind mood they are in. In the lobby there has a lot of people are go back for supplement documents.
Feel like they already made decision approve or not, as long as you are able to hand in ALL the papers they asked.
I almost didn't get bank statement, because we have a house on both name.
but I did bring it, and they did ask for both.
And by look at that many office are running for interviewing, I think they do try to make things fast. When the black lady said she don't want to see our photos, she said something like try to fast a little bit and help us get out there earlier.
Anyway, good luck for everyone.
See below my timeline, I will update it when I receive the plasitic card.
