My I-140 filed in 2003 is still pending. My employer is a big company with good profits. I-140 is company related and cant understand why is still pending. Lawyer filed an inquiry about 2 months back and still no reply from CSC.

Are there any guys who filed in 2003 and still waiting for I-140 approval.
What are my options here. Should I contact the CSC / senator etc. Could you please post details about how to contact CSC thru mail/fax and senator .

ask your lawyer to send inquiry. you can contact to congressman/woman after 6 months OR more after RFE reply if you want but initially you can send inquiry thru lawyer

what is your category EB2 OR EB3??

My lawyer already filed an inquiry 2 months back. No response from CSC yet.
Lawyer wants to wait till he hears from CSC. As it is already 2 months, i want to explore other options like contacting senator etc.

If you have any info regarding how to contact the senator, kindly post.
 
Mine I-140 is waiting without RFE since Aug 2003. Last enquiry (in Feb 2005)by attorney got reply "Pending Review and Additional System checks". I don't know what it is.

Nope. I got only normal fingerprint notice and it is cleared. thanks for thoughts though.
 
I - 140 pending since Oct '03

My I - 140 was filed in Oct '03. My Attorney sent an Inquiry in Jan '05, but did not hear anything from CSC. Another was sent about 20 days back and waiting to hear from CSC. My Attorney sent a letter to Director INS requesting his attention to my case, but did not hear anything yet. My Attorney says that, during the third inquiry they may get a chance to talk to an Immigration Officer. My I-140 is stuck in CSC and my I-485 was sent to SF Local Office. I am sending a letter to Senator. I am not sure what will happen. Thanks.

but I and my family got Biometric on 21 march dt 31 march 2005 San Jose.
4 member got code 3 (age 14 and up) and for 12 year daughter code 2

Contacting senator might help

Folks,

Looks like lawyer inquiry and personal inquiry to CSC does not seem to help move the I140 cases. What is frustrating is, I-140 is purely company related and there is no reason for CSC to hold the approval due to pending namecheck etc.

I am leaning towards contacting senator to find the status. CSC must answer to senator queries.

Anyone has experience in contacting the senator, please share how to go about it.
